Many kids who were wearing big happy faces participated in our Stroll (see their pictures on the Nov 08 Art page). Balloons from Trader Joe's indicated the festivities, and hot coco and cookies from Miraglia Catering & Event Planning warmed kids and parents alike. Volunteers from Building with Books informed the eager visitors of the Stroll. After the kids visited 3 “stamper” stops, their completed passports were returned and the kids received their prize bag. And what prize bags they were: artist sketch pads and other great supplies from BLICK art materials; stickers, stamps, pens, other fun stuff from MOCHA; and certificates for Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream! Grand Prize winner from the Stroll to be announced this week. Thank you to everyone who made the day so much fun and so special!
